The home of the Gotei Thirteen and all spirits who train to become Shinigami. It is possibly the safest location in all of Soul Society housing hundreds of Shinigami who train to destroy Hollows. The entirety of Soul Society is made from Sekkiseki stone. This material makes flight impossible in Soul Society forcing anyone there to travel by foot or rooftop.

The location of the Gotei Thirteen's resting areas or where each Captain holds a meeting for their squad. Each squad has their own barracks where they may rest.

Also known as the Shinigami Academy. Before become full-sledged shinigami, new recruits must go here to learn all they need to know about the three branches of the Soul Society Military. Entrance into the academy is decided by taking an entrance exam and holding some spiritual power.

A very large area made of different fields with equipment for training in all aspects for Shinigami.

Sōkyoku Hill is the location of where Shinigami are taken for the highest form of execution. Here they are destroyed by the Sōkyoku Halberd which holds the power of over one million Zanpakutou. This method of death prevents reincarnation to the soul that is executed.

There are many areas within the Sereitei that are close to Rukongai that provide an assortment of small restaurants, spa parlors, and other stores provided for Shinigami. These are often run by Shinigami but as well spirits in Rukongai have been able to gain employment here.

The Den of Maggots is where the criminals of Soul Society are placed if not executed, the people are are potential threats. It is where their actions and behavior have placed them as potential threats. To prevent any disasters these potential threats are locked away.

Located in Soul Society is the dimensional gateway which Shinigami use to travel between the human world and their own, taking the form of a waiting room entered through sliding doors. This is controlled by the Kidōshū.

Rukongai is the location where spirits reside for the rest of their days unless they choose to become Shinigami. The number of Shinigami tends to increase as the years go due to the dangers presented in Rukongai.

Rukongai is broken into over three hundred districts separated by four quadrants: North, South, East, and West. At the center of all this is the Sereitei, the closer to the Sereitei the safer Rukongai tends to be.

This is a massive patch of corrupted land that runs directly down the center of the Western Rukongai District. It is the location of the first invasion of Hollows, the corruption is permanent and may only be renewed if Soul Society wins the war and ends the Hollow onslaught.

Tokyo, also referred to as Old Kyoto by some, is a vast metropolis that features one of the most diverse settings in all of Japan. From the dense cityscape, to the sparsely populated, olden shrine like areas, Tokyo is is heavily saturated in Spiritual energies, drawing many Hollow.

The more natural areas of earth near Tokyo and other cities.

This is the vast landscape in Hueco Mundo, littered with quartz trees devoid of life. Small creatures scurry around under the sand and massive beasts skulk the sands in search of their next meal.

The location of where the original Primera Espada opened the Garganta and lead an army through when he was a Vasto Lorde. Due to the mass of corruption emanating from the Garganta it remains open and guarded by the forces of Las Noches far away from their home.

This is the forest which the Menos Gillian typically wander, as well there are armies of typical Hollows and even Adjuchas that gather here in attempts to create hunting groups, most tend to just consume one another after a few dry weeks of no hunts. The forest itself is a massive underground area that can lead to various passageways in Las Noches.

Las Noches, the fortress constructed at the rise of the first Espada ranks when the war had started. There is a massive dome that covers the majority of the inside land, the dome however simply reflects the moonlight from atop it down to the desert inside. When looking at the dome from within, it seems as if it is non existent.
